Step Up Wilmington serves people affected by unemployment and underemployment, often associated with the challenges of incarceration, homelessness, recovery, domestic violence, or anything that keeps one from reaching their goals. Step Up Wilmington’s process teaches people to get and keep quality jobs, rebuild hope & self-esteem, and create opportunities for themselves. Step Up Wilmington has placed hundreds of jobs each year, with a one year job retention rate of 80%. The impact doesn’t end with employment. Step Up Wilmington maintains relationships and provides the support and training necessary to move individuals and families toward stability, impacting their lives and strengthening our communities.
